Cutting Corners Never Pays!

I will spare you nasty photos of what they're scraping off the floor today (old carpet padding residue laid over strip hardwood floor), and instead post this ridiculous work of a contractor who cut corners with tiling job before installing cabinets on top. Really... That's about $8 worth of tile, less than 20 min of your time.. In fact it probably took longer to cut it like that. Now we have to find a matching tile or, worse comes to worse, retile the whole area! It only goes to show- cutting corners never pays out in the end!

Why not break the rules?

Shopping find of the day... These plate sets from Winners. I loved both the sophisticated graphic design of the dinner plate, and the country French blue stripe of the Ralph Lauren side plate and put them together. Do what you love!

Custom Flowers

Made a custom arrangement for a restaurant opening yesterday with cascading white orchids, chestnut grass and baby artichokes in the company's signature colours.

New Project!

I've been working on a new project downtown and we start work soon. The property is a 2 floor condo with amazing 12ft ceilings (approximately 2500sq ft) on Yonge street on top of a store.
I'm designing it as a rental, and hoping to attract young professional renters, so the look is definitely more modern, clean and sophisticated. Check out the look I'm building so far in tiles and this awesome vanity I scored at Rona during their no tax event saturday!
